This farm is located in Patrimônio do Ouro, a mountainous region located in the state of Esprito Santo in Brazil. Mainly this region is known for precious metals, especially gold, but around 1900, the Romão family started one of the first coffee farms in that area and named it Sítio Bela Vista.Starting out using a farmer’s intuition they had good results, but as the coffee markets and industry matured, they began to refine their agronomical knowledge and skills. They made another big push towards specialty-grade coffee in the early 2000s by installing all of the necessary equipment to perform all of the cherry processing on site. This resulted in the family winning three regional contests for quality. This Washed coffee in very clean with flavor notes that include biscotti, apricot, and walnut.
